the lodge itself was immaculate, beautiful decor and spotlessly clean. plenty of room for all 5 of us to sit inside, and outside there were two seating areas so we could move with the sun! facilities were wonderful - comfortable beds, easy-to-use kitchen, free WiFi and Netflix access on the TVs.

I had a fantastic stay at this lodge. The communication and access to the property were good, making it easy to find and settle in. The location was great, with a short 5-minute walk to a beautiful bay. The lodge itself was impeccable with its immaculate and beautifully decorated interior. The comfortable beds allowed for a good night's sleep, and the windows let in ample natural light, creating a wonderful atmosphere. The kitchen was well-equipped with enough supplies for everyone, and the dishwasher was an added convenience. The free WiFi and TV access to Netflix were much appreciated. the facilities were excellent, adding to the overall enjoyment of my stay.

I always come back because it feels like home. Staff helped me with my elderly parents. Wi-Fi, free parking, electric kettle, flat-screen TV, VIP check-in/out. Coming back for Xmas!

Our stay at the Salt & Seaweed lodge was great value for money with comfortable beds, ample kitchen supplies, and free WiFi. The location was ideal, offering a peaceful environment and easy access to both Whitby and the beautiful Runswick bay. The staff were friendly and the lodge itself was immaculate and beautifully decorated.

Communication and access were spot-on, the lodge was in a dreamy, secluded location with beautiful decor, tons of space, and two sun-sational outdoor seating areas. Close to Whitby and just a short walk to Runswick Bay. The comfy beds and light-filled rooms made for a super atmosphere. The kitchen had everything we needed, including a handy dishwasher, and the oven and stove were a breeze to use. Plus, the free WiFi and Netflix on the flat-screen TVs were mind-blowingly awesome!

One downside was the lack of a shop on site for essentials.
